The task was to create 4 generous leasable flats overlooking the three main landmarks in their surroundings, including the Sargans Castle, and Gonzen and the Pizol Mountains. It was thanks to our sophisticated work with the interior space of a loft character that we created a unique living room providing a view of all these landmarks. Besides, this region is also specific for its occurence and extraction of metals, as a result of which the house was entitled ˮEisenerzˮ by the investor, meaning iron ore. Therefore, we opted for a combination of concrete and copper to maintain at least an abstract similarity with the local rock.
