Our concept looks into another possibility of situating the entry area and car park for visitors within the ZOO premises. With regard to the near Monk’s Mountain, its specific natural character and close proximity to a built-up area of single and two-storey terraced houses, we propose a structure of a terraced arrangement. It is composed of receding panels, the arrangement of which copies the shape of the terrain. Besides, the building is planted with greenery and covered by a net of climbing plants. On the lower floors, there is a car park for 350 cars and on the last floor there are cash desks, a restaurant, souvenir shop, information centre and view terraces.
